When a husky becomes thoroughly familiar with an area, for example a garden, she starts mulling over a possibility to get outside. Some huskies are able to climb meshes, jump over 2 meter high fences or dig huge tunnels under them.

Huskies are difficult to train, as they are independent and have strong sense of freedom and desire for it.

Huskies have vigor in their genes, so they need a significant amount of exercise and time devoted by the owner every day. Walks that would be sufficient for a “common” dog in most cases will not be enough for a husky. In such circumstances huskies will accumulate energy and use it in other ways.

Huskies are explorers that love new places and new challenges. So, beware of their nosiness.

Huskies are courageous dogs. Most of them are not afraid of loud noises or the hubbub of the street. They do not differentiate between sidewalks and roadways. Therefore some huskies, when unleashed, are capable of running in a stress-free way among cars rushing in the street.
